STATESBORO - Georgia Southern senior setter Kirsten Barrett and junior outside hitter Reagan Barth have been named the Sun Belt Conference's Setter and Offensive Player of the Week, respectively, this season with today's release of the weekly awards from the league.
Barrett continues her amazing senior season for the Eagles by notching her sixth weekly award from the Sun Belt. The Cleveland, Ohio, native tallied 66 assists and 24 digs in Georgia Southern's pair of wins over Coastal Carolina on the week, moving into second place in the Sun Belt East Division standings and marking the first time the Eagles have swept the Chanticleers in program history.
