STATESBORO, Ga. – With the third week of practice well underway and camp about to conclude before classes begin next week, the Georgia Southern football team went through a full-tilt practice Thursday morning with a lot of excitement and some key freshmen standing out in the eyes of coaches. A 50-play scrimmage wrapped up the day as some of the younger players had a chance to catch the eyes of the coaches in hopes of playing time this fall.
Camp will conclude Friday morning with the annual Eagle Creek Baptism and then the team will help with Operation Move In in the afternoon.
