BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – Lauren Chastang collected 17 kills and 12 digs to lead Kennesaw State to a 3-1 (19-25, 25-17, 25-16, 25-19) volleyball victory over Georgia Southern Saturday afternoon in the Blazer Invitational in Bartow Arena.

Hannah McGlockton posted a team-high 14 kills, and Grace Slader finished with 14 assists, six digs and three aces. Madison Brown chipped in 11 assists, 10 digs and a pair of aces.

The Eagles trailed 2-1 in the match but were tied 17-17 in the fourth when Kennesaw scored the next five points, with four coming off the serve of Bri Becerra, to open a 22-17 cushion.
