STATESBORO – Georgia Southern men's basketball coach Mark Byington announced today that he has named Keith Chesley director of operations.
Chesley arrives in Statesboro after spending last season at Stetson, where he was responsible for all aspects of team travel and equipment while also assisting with video, scouting, and the day-to-day operations of the program. Chesley will have many of the same duties at Georgia Southern, including supervising the managers, assisting the coaching staff in limited on-court activities during practice, on-campus recruiting and coordinating all of the team's video needs.
"Even though Keith is fairly new to the business, he has very good experience performing the requirements for the director of the basketball operations," said Byington.
