STATESBORO - Georgia Southern midfielder Jack Philp has been named to the 2021 CoSIDA Academic All-District 4 Men's Soccer squad, announced today by the organization.
The graduate student and Edinburgh, Scotland, native carried a perfect 4.0 GPA in his Biology graduate studies in 2020-21. In his second season with the Eagles, Philp started all 10 matches for the Eagles in the Fall of 2020, playing 767 minutes, which was the second-most on the squad. He took two shots, one on goal, and played every minute of his last five matches of the season for the Eagles, starting with the Oct.
