STATESBORO– Senior Imani Moore was named Sun Belt Outdoor Field Performer of the Year and All-SBC First Team while six of her other teammates were named All-Sun Belt, the league announced Thursday.
Shatalya Dorsett, Emani George, Moore, Devine Parker and NaJ Watson were all named to the First Team, while Kennedy Hood and Leonaya Knox earned Second Team.
Moore, who has been on All-Sun Belt lists in both indoor and outdoor three years in a row, earns her first yearly honor after a tremendous senior season that featured gold-medal performances in the long jump and triple jump at the championship meet, also earning First Team honors.
