Photo by Statesboro HeraldNew women’s basketball Head Coach Anita Howard earned her first commitment of the 2020 class with Statesboro High School’s Lacy Robins.
Robins, a 6-foot-1 combo guard for the Blue Devils, earned eight total offers over the course of her recruitment, but GS offered her the opportunity to play at the highest level of Division I.
Robins said the chance to play that “hometown hero” role in front of her parents, especially her father, was huge. He is an inspiration for her work ethic and she credits him for her success.
