CONWAY, S.C. - Dangerous field conditions have forced postponement of Thursday's first round of action in the 2017 Sun Belt Conference Men's Soccer Championships in Conway, S.C.
The third-seeded Eagles were slated to open up the tournament by facing sixth-seeded Appalachian State at 4 p.m. on Thursday, but officials made the call to push back that match, as well as the other first-round match featuring fourth-seeded Hartwick and fifth-seeded Howard, to Friday.
Georgia Southern will now take on Appalachian State at 10:00 a.m. on Friday morning at the Coastal Carolina Soccer Stadium. Hartwick and Howard will play their first-round match at 12:30 p.
