Harrisonburg, VA – Georgia Southern (16-5, 7-3 SBC) battled through a five-set thriller but came up short against James Madison (16-6, 9-1 SBC) on Saturday afternoon, falling 3–2 (25-27, 25-23, 13-25, 25-22, 10-15).
Reagan Barth led the Eagle offense with 23 kills, 19 digs and three service aces, leading the team in each category.
Alex Myers added 13 kills and two aces, while Maggie Sale contributed 10 kills and four blocks. Setter Kirsten Barrett directed the attack with 46 assists and added 16 digs on the defensive end.
