NORFOLK, VA. – Georgia Southern Swimming & Diving is among a record breaking group of programs to be named Scholar All-American by the College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA). The Eagles posted a 3.31 team GPA in the Fall 2016 semester. In total, 638 teams from 394 institutions earned the honor.
"Doing well in the classroom is something that is very important to our program," said Head Coach Laura Thomas. "We have a team goal of a 3.50 so we still have some work to do in the classroom, but we will get there.
