Georgia Southern Splits on Final Day of Eagle Round Robin

Box Score 1 | Box Score 2 STATESBORO - The Georgia Southern softball team split a pair of games on the final day of the Eagle Round Robin, downing Austin Peay 4-2 before falling to ETSU 7-5 in the final game of the weekend.

In the opener, Logan Harrell drove in two runs and Kayle Ramos picked up her first career save as the Eagles held on for the win. In the back end of the day, the Eagles rallied from down 2-0 with a pair of solo home runs, but four unearned runs in the sixth inning were their undoing in falling 7-5.
