The game started out with three scoreless innings, until redshirt junior outfielder Tyler Martin made the only score of the game in the fourth, with help from a hit by freshman catcher Christian Avant and a Trojan fielding error.
Junior pitcher Tyler Owens had a near perfect game and led GS to this historic victory. He struck out four and allowed no runs in his six innings of work.
