Georgia Southern lands transfer running back from Oklahoma State

Former three-star running back J.D. King is returning to his home state after spending the past two seasons with Oklahoma State. King announced mid-November that he was transferring from OSU and announced via Twitter Saturday morning that he was transferring to Georgia Southern.

“I am honored to be transferring to Georgia Southern University to complete my collegiate studies and join the brotherhood,” King said in a tweet. “Joining the Eagle Family means a lot to my family and myself. We appreciate the opportunity and promise to make the best of it.”

King went to Fitzgerald High School where he was invited to the 2015 Georgia Junior Elite Classic.
