MILLEDGEVILLE, GA. – Georgia Southern women's cross country put together another strong outing Friday evening at the GCSU Bobcat Invite, securing a second-place team finish in a competitive field.
Augusta claimed the team title, bolstered by its three top-six finishes, while GS claimed runner-up powered by six of its runners claiming a top-20 spot.
The Eagles packed their top five runners tightly together, led by veteran Tristen Crosby, who clocked a 20:05.18 to place seventh overall.
Behind Crosby, Hannah Douglas crossed the line in 10th, just four seconds off her teammate.
