STATESBORO - Georgia Southern Director of Athletics Jared Benko announced Thursday the addition of Chattanooga to the 2030 non-conference slate. The Eagles will host the Mocs on Aug. 31, 2030 at Allen E. Paulson Stadium.
Georgia Southern and UTC have met 27 previous times in football, the last 21 as members of the Southern Conference. The Eagles lead the series 23-4 having won five of the previous six meetings. The series started in 1984 and the two teams played every year from 1993 to 2013 when the Eagles made the move to the FBS.
