STATESBORO, Ga. – For many students the summer is a chance to get a part-time job to make some extra money or to just take a break from studying and soak up some sun or travel. That's not the case for many student-athletes, especially a quartet of Georgia Southern men's soccer players who are playing for South Georgia Tormenta FC this summer, gaining valuable experience that will help them as they continue on in their careers.
Seniors Jeremy Rector and Aidan Resing as well as junior Hunter Loyden and sophomore Chase Herzog are all listed on the Tormenta's roster and have been helping the team grow in its first year in Statesboro.
