STATESBORO, Ga.— Former standout student-athlete Rise Lanne captured yet another title to add to his collection— he is now the No.1 tennis player in Finland.

Despite a tough bracket, Lanne won the Finnish National Championships after beating the No.2 seed in the tournament and a player from Ohio State, which ultimately earns him a wildcard in the main draw for a tournament later this summer.

"It is a great accomplishment for Rise; he has been working hard all year and it is good to see he is getting the results he deserves," head coach Sander Koning said.
