STATESBORO, Ga.- This weekend, Georgia Southern football's freshmen class officially moved in and completed orientation before starting summer classes on Monday. After settling into their new dorms on Sunday, the players met with professors and academic advisors to prepare for their first collegiate courses and to learn about the resources available to them as student-athletes.
In addition to completing physicals for summer training, the new players got to know their fellow teammates at their first team meeting and began familiarizing themselves with the GS campus.
Practice begins on Aug. 1 with the home opener slated for Sept.
