NASSAU, Bahamas -- Quan Jackson scored 16 points and Montae Glenn added 14 points and 12 rebounds to help Georgia Southern beat Florida Atlantic 80-70 on Friday night in the first round of the Islands of the Bahamas Showcase.
Georgia Southern will play Towson or Pepperdine in the semifinals Saturday.
Ike Smith scored 13 points, Tookie Brown had 12 points, six rebounds and seven assists, and Elijah McCadden scored 10 for the Eagles (3-0).
McCadden's jumper early in the second half gave Georgia Southern the lead for good and started a 7-0 spurt that made it 46-39 with 13 minutes to go.
