Five Eagles Named ITA Scholar-Athletes

STATESBORO, Ga. – The Georgia Southern men's tennis team had five student athletes named Intercollegiate Tennis Association Scholar-Athletes on Tuesday. Seniors Chris Kerrigan and Dani Casablancas, junior Artemie Amari, and freshman Diego Finkelstein and Santiago Suarez, were honored by the ITA for their hard work on and off the court.

The ITA All-Academic Team award is open to any ITA program that has a cumulative team average of 3.20 GPA or above. In order for an individual to earn the ITA Scholar-Athlete status, a player must be a varsity letter winning athlete and achieve at least a 3.
