Junior Steven Fisk led the Georgia Southern men's golf team with a third-place individual finish, shooting a school-and-course record 12-under-par 60 in round two at the Warrior Makai Princeville Invitational this week in Hawai'i.
Fisk was the 13th golfer to ever shoot 60 in a college event, according to Golfweek. No player has ever shot 59 at a college tournament.
The Eagles as a team finished in 15th out of a loaded 20-team field. Louisville won the three-round event by nine strokes.
While Fisk excelled once again, other GS golfers had subpar performances. Seniors Jake Storey and Archer Price, usually reliable sidekicks for Fisk, shot 8-over-par and 11-over-par on the tournament, respectively.
