STATESBORO - This spring, COVID-19 suddenly disrupted lives across the world. In doing so, student-athletes competing in spring sports were given an abrupt notice that their seasons were canceled. The NCAA granted an extra year of eligibility for those affected, but the decision required a plan to procure the funds to pay for their returns.
Eagle Nation came together in a big way as 308 donors have given a combined $94,386 to the cause to help offset the cost during these unprecedented times. To those who gave, we thank you! Your support is greatly appreciated.
