STATESBORO, Ga. - With the first half of spring practice now over and the Spring Game in the books, the Georgia Southern football team took to the fields of Beautiful Eagle Creek Tuesday morning in full pads on the hottest day of practice thus far.
Following practice, GSEagles.com had a chance to catch up with junior running back Wesley Fields, who had 28 yards rushing on a limited amount of carries in Saturday's scrimmage.
Q: With Matt Breida now gone, how is the core of running backs improving and what role do you see yourself playing this season on and off the field?
