NEW ORLEANS – The Sun Belt Conference announced Friday that Georgia Southern football student-athletes Wesley Fields and Chris DeLaRosa will join head coach Tyson Summers at the 2017 Sun Belt Media Day on July 24 at the Mercedes Benz Superdome located in New Orleans.
Summers enters his second season at the helm of the Eagles and will be looking to improve on last year's five-win season. The Eagles did finish 2016 strong, knocking off co-champion and eventual Cure Bowl champion Troy in the finale. The Eagles open preseason camp on July 25 and open the season on Sept.
