STATESBORO, Ga. – They have been relentless on the road recruiting, signed their first class, logged countless hours in the film room evaluating and have spent a lot of time out and about in the community meeting Eagle Nation.
Now it's time for the new Georgia Southern football coaching staff to do what every coach was born to do – blow a whistle.
And the Eagle staff made it known that they can't wait to do just that at pre-spring practice media day Tuesday afternoon in the Ted Smith Family Football Center.
"It's what we've been looking forward to and taking our team goals and trying to do everything right for the last couple months really from the weight room perspective and from the academic side of it, and then trying to begin to slowly kind of install some of the pieces to the puzzle for us offensively and defensively," said Georgia Southern coach Tyson Summers.
