STATESBORO, Ga. – For the first time since 2003 the Georgia Southern women's tennis team defeated UNC-Greensboro 4-3. The Eagles would sweep the weekend in North Carolina and improve to 7-2 on the season. They will now return home for a two match home stand against Bethune-Cookman and Kennesaw State starting Friday.
UNCG – After being delayed three times on Saturday afternoon, the Georgia Southern women's tennis team took on UNC-Greensboro. The Spartans would take the doubles point after winning on all three courts. The Eagles would battle back, winning four of the next six points in singles play.
