MONTGOMERY, Ala. – Georgia Southern baseball scored double-digit runs in both of their Pool B games this week in Montgomery, Alabama, defeating the ULM Warhawks X-X in the final pool play game.
The Eagles improved to 33-22 on the season, while the Warhawks' fall to 26-26. Georgia Southern will advance to the conference tournament semifinals against Louisiana tomorrow afternoon at Riverwalk Stadium.
Georgia Southern opened up the scoring in the bottom of the first, as Mason McWhorter homered to left field, a two-run home run over the train tracks. In the second, Jarrett Brown would add to the scoring with a sacrifice fly to center field to score Jason Swan.
