MONTGOMERY, Ala. – Parker Biederer laid down the sacrifice squeeze and beat out the throw to score Jason Swan from third in the top of the 11th inning to defeat Louisiana 3-2 and advance to the conference finals.
The Eagles improved to 34-22 on the season, while the Ragin' Cajuns fall to 32-23 on the year. Jay Thompson picked up his 7th victory of the season working the final two innings, allowing one hit and walking one.
