STATESBORO - Hosting its final meet of the 2019 outdoor track and field season, the Georgia Southern Eagles performed well, capturing several events at Erk Park on Friday and Saturday.
"Competing at home this year was a great way for our seniors to celebrate their time here at Georgia Southern," Georgia Southern Head Coach Kelly Carter said. "They competed well, even with the subpar weather conditions. I'm very proud of our Eagles and looking forward to the rest of the season."
The Eagles began action on Friday, with Alexis Gant capturing the hammer throw with a distance of 150' 1".
