STATESBORO, Ga. – For the third consecutive week in a row, the Georgia Southern women's track and field team broke school records in the Mile and the 5000 meters. The Eagles will now turn their attention to the Sun Belt Conference Indoor Championships, at the Birmingham Crossplex.
"We had another stepping stone yesterday at the Birmingham Crossplex," head coach Kelly Carter said. Two more school records went by the wayside with Ellunde Montgomery in the mile and Ashton Lord in the 5000. We had a couple great performances in other events and that is setting us up really nicely for the upcoming Indoor Conference Championships.
