Eagles Rebound, Beat College of Charleston 4-1

STATESBORO – The Georgia Southern baseball team defeated College of Charleston 4-1 at J.I. Clements Stadium on Tuesday night. The Eagles now boast a 14-7 record as they head back into conference play this weekend.

College of Charleston got the scoring started in the top of the first inning, as Trotter Harlan shot an RBI double down the left field line, bringing Tyler Sorrentino home from first base to give the Cougars a 1-0 lead. The Eagles would respond in the bottom of the first, starting with a Jesse Sherrill single to left field.
