BLUFFTON, S.C. – Georgia Southern women's cross country turned in its strongest performance of the season early Saturday morning, capturing first place at the Sand Shark Invitational behind a flurry of career-best times.
The Eagles dominated the front of the pack, placing five runners in the top 10 and 11 inside the top 50. Elizabeth Stamey led the way with a career-best 18:30.2 to finish third overall, closely followed by Lauren Voutour in fourth (18:32.4) and Tristen Crosby in fifth (18:38.0), marking a career-best for Crosby and Voutour.
