STATESBORO, Ga. – For the final time, before the Sun Belt Indoor Championships, the Georgia Southern Track and Field team will compete in the Samford Invite & Multi in Birmingham, Alabama. Field events will begin at 9:00 a.m., while track events will begin around 11:00 a.m. The Eagles are looking to continue the success they had two weeks ago at the JDL-Fast Track where they collected six top-ten conference finishes.
"We are excited about heading to Birmingham this weekend," head coach Kelly Carter said. "Birmingham Crossplex will host the 2017 Sun Belt Indoor Championships and this will be an opportunity for us to get a feel for that track.
