KENNESAW, Ga. - Georgia Southern women's soccer wrapped up its non-conference schedule on Wednesday playing Kennesaw State to a 0-0 draw in Kennesaw, Ga.
The Eagles move to 2-5-1 on the season with the tie, while Kennesaw State moves to 0-4-3 on the year. Georgia Southern will now turn its attention to Sun Belt play, taking on Marshall in a 1 p.m. contest on Sunday from Bo Pitts Field.
Georgia Southern held a 6-2 edge in shots in the first half, but neither team could find the back of the net.
The Eagles generated two outstanding chances in the second half, trying to break the scoreless deadlock.
