STATESBORO - Georgia Southern head football coach Tyson Summers and the Eagles took to the fields at Beautiful Eagle Creek on a muggy Saturday morning in Statesboro. The practice was the second of 15 as the team went through a tough practice on the wet field after an overnight shower soaked the area.
The team continued to get a feel for how things will go under Summers and his new staff on the practice field and the staff continued to get its first chances to evaluate the team they inherited. After a walk-through and stretching, the position groups broke off for individual drills before coming together to continue installation of the offensive and defensive schemes.
