JONESBORO, ARK. – The Georgia Southern offense gave starting pitcher Brian Eichhorn plenty of run support as the Eagles pounded Arkansas State 9-7 to win the series on Saturday afternoon. Eichhorn gave up three runs in the first inning, but settled down, retiring 20-straight batters to take his third win of the year. Georgia Southern visits Georgia Tech on Wednesday night with a chance to avenge the 16-inning defeat earlier this season.
