STATESBORO - The Georgia Southern football squad went through its first team scrimmage of the spring on Monday afternoon at Allen E. Paulson Stadium.
Jjay Mcafee opened the scoring with a 13-yard pass from newcomer Davis Brin. On the next drive, Tyler Jordan bulled his way into the end zone from 10 yards out for the second score.
After several stops by the defense, Terrance Gibbs punched it in from the 3-yard line in a red zone situation where the offense started at the 14-yard line.
