STATESBORO – Georgia Southern delivered a dominant performance on Thursday night, sweeping Louisiana 3-0 at Hanner Fieldhouse. The Eagles controlled the match from start to finish, taking straight sets (25-18, 25-16, 25-16) to improve to 19-7 on the season and 10-5 in Sun Belt play.
"I thought the energy in Hanner was really good tonight, and I appreciate all the FSL guys coming out to support the team tonight," head coach Chad Willis said. "Overall, we were really balanced offensively, and we got progressively better as the match went on. I thought the key to the match was our serving.
