ARLINGTON, Texas - No. 68 UT Arlington women's tennis remained unbeaten in Sun Belt conference play with a 4-0 victory over visiting Georgia Southern on Saturday in Arlington.
UTA moved to 17-1 overall and 6-0 in the league with the victory, while Georgia Southern fell to 9-8 overall and 2-4 in the league. The Eagles will wrap up their weekend Sun Belt trip to Texas by taking on Texas State on Sunday at 11 a.m.
The Mavericks took the doubles point by picking up wins at No. 1 and No. 3 doubles. As singles play began, each team took three first sets of the six singles matches.
