STATESBORO – The Georgia Southern baseball team won the third game of the series against William & Mary, 7-3, on Sunday at J.I. Clements Stadium. The win gave the Eagles their second straight sweep and they are now winners in eight of their last nine.
The scoring began in the bottom of the second inning, when fired a RBI single through the right side, scoring . Soon after, hit a two-RBI single to center field, bringing and Biederer to the plate, giving the Eagles a 3-0 lead after two innings.
The Tribe would score back-to-back home runs in the top of the third, narrowing the Eagles lead to only 3-2.
