STATESBORO, Ga. - The Georgia Southern women's tennis team hosted a community outreach event called "Tennis for Ta-Ta's" Saturday January 13, raising $1,000 for breast cancer awareness.
When given an opportunity to choose their outreach the women's tennis team jumped on the chance to raise money for Breast Cancer Awareness. All members of the team said that this cause was close to them because they all knew a friend or family member that has been affected by breast cancer.
"The team jumped on this opportunity when they were given ideas for community outreach," said Head Coach Sean McCaffrey.
