STATESBORO, Ga. – This past weekend the Georgia Southern Track and Field team hit the track in Gainesville, Florida to compete in the Florida Relays, hosted by the University of Florida. Nearly 80 teams competed in the events, with 10 women's teams being ranked in the top 25.
The blue and white collected two top-25 finishes, as well as two top-50 finishes in the final day. Bailey Willett collected a top-25 finish during the 800 meter event, while Ashton Lord collected a top-50 finish in the 5000 meter event. Desiree Blunt took home a top-50 performance in the 200 meter open and currently sits in 12th place in the conference.
