STATESBORO, Ga. – Georgia Southern women's tennis fell to the Cougars 6-1 on Wednesday afternoon, to close out a seven match road stretch. The Eagles battled from the beginning, but College of Charleston took momentum and fought back on a windy afternoon in Charleston.
The Cougars jumped out to an early lead with sweeping doubles play and winning a tiebreaker on court two. The Blue and White would head to singles play trialing 1-0 and trying to rebound from a crushing doubles defeat. Mila Hartig continued her success this season improving to 10-3, with a straight set victory on court six.
