FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. - No. 13-ranked Arkansas women's soccer used a pair of first half goals to collect a 2-0 victory over visiting Georgia Southern on Sunday afternoon in Fayetteville.

The match, originally scheduled for Statesboro, was moved to Arkansas due to field conditions as more than five inches of rain was dumped on the Bulloch County area on Friday and Saturday. It is the first time the Eagles have faced a nationally-ranked team since playing at No. 25 Ole Miss on March 27, 2021.

Arkansas wasted little time getting on the board as a shot from outside of the box took a deflection off of a Georgia Southern defender and fell right to Erin Bailey inside the box, who finished just 46 seconds into the contest.
