TROY, Ala. - Junior Addison Comer converted a penalty kick in the 83rd minute to give Georgia Southern women's soccer a 1-1 draw with Troy on Sunday afternoon at the Troy Soccer Complex.
The Eagles moved to 2-8-4 overall and 0-3-3 in the Sun Belt with the tie, while Troy ends up 5-5-3 overall and 0-3-3 in the league with the result. Georgia Southern returns to action on Saturday, October 11, hosting Old Dominion in a 2 p.m. Sun Belt contest at Bo Pitts Field.
Neither team could find a goal in the first half as the Eagles had several chances, going into the break with a 14-6 edge in shots.
