STATESBORO - The Georgia Southern softball team split a pair of games Sunday on the final day of the Eagle Round Robin, falling to UMKC 2-1 before bouncing back to take care of Mount St. Mary's, 6-1.

After a scoreless first two frames, UMKC finally broke through with a suicide squeeze bunt and then later a sacrifice fly to take a 2-0 lead. In the bottom half of the inning, Logan Harrell ripped a solo home run down the line, her fourth of the season.
