STATESBORO - Two members of the Georgia Southern women's track and field team have the opportunity to represent their countries in international competitions this Summer, gaining valuable experience heading into the 2019-20 season. Scovia Ayikoru ran for her native country of Uganda at the IAAF World Relays while Izlyn Zaini is in contention to represent Singapore in the World University Games.
While the Eagles were competing at the 2019 Sun Belt Conference Outdoor Track & Field Championships, freshman Scovia Ayikoru was representing her native country of Uganda at the IAAF World Relays in Yokohama, Japan.
