DECATUR, GA. - Georgia Southern Baseball closed out the 2017 regular season on Saturday with a 13-3 rout of Georgia State. The Eagles did not trail on Saturday to avoid the sweep. Seth Shuman worked five innings to improve to 7-0 on the season while Logan Baldwin and Ryan Cleveland each had three hits and two RBIs each.
Next up for the Eagles is the 2017 Sun Belt Baseball Championships in Statesboro. The Eagles play host to this year's tournament on Jack Stallings Field at J.I. Clements Stadium beginning on Tuesday.
