STATESBORO – Emily Jarome collected 18 kills, and Grace Underwood totaled 10 blocks to lead Georgia Southern to a 3-2 (25-19, 22-25, 25-22, 17-25, 15-13) Sun Belt volleyball win over Troy Friday night in Hanner Fieldhouse.

Jarome hit .210 in the match and added nine digs and two blocks, while Paige Powers finished with 12 kills. Ashlynn Lovett notched 22 digs, and Callaway Cason tallied 40 assists, 10 digs and three blocks.
