STATESBORO - Georgia Southern Director of Athletics Jared Benko announced Tuesday the hiring of Davis Hendrickson as the new Deputy AD for Development of the Georgia Southern Athletic Foundation. In his current role, Hendrickson will oversee the Georgia Southern Athletic Foundation - the chief fundraising arm of the department - and will have sport supervision of baseball and men's golf.
"We are excited to welcome Davis Hendrickson and his family to Statesboro," Benko said. "Davis comes highly recommended from his peers and mentors in the industry, and he has demonstrated the ability to both fundraise and create revenue in his previous roles at Pittsburgh and Illinois.
